The mission of the San Mateo Public Library Foundation is to raise funds to support the services and programs of the San Mateo Public Library. The Foundation supplies ongoing support for expanded collections, kids's programming, Project Read's Literacy Program, the Biotech Resource Librarian and special funding for cultural programs planned by the African American, Hispanic, Asian and Iranian- American Committees and other special programs provided by the Library.
