Furniture Store in Anchorage, AK
Scan Home was established in 1983 by Carl and Barbara Propes. A successful container sale in the summer of 1983 lead to financing to open a 3, 100 square foot store in early 1984. Barbara and Carl's kids, Lindsay and Alex, were born into the business and often played in the store while they were growing up. Lindsay recently received her Master's degree in International Politics from New York University, and Alex will be graduating from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff in May of 2010.
