To Smokin' Joe's BBQ. We opened in Olathe Kansas in 1989. Smokin' Joe's is independently owned and run by Matt Sander. Our mission is to supply great barbeque at an economical price. In 1990 we won second place for our Spicy BBQ sauce in the American Royal BBQ Contest. In 2005 the Kansas City Magazine nominated us as one of the top 5 bar-b-que restaurants in Kansas City. All of our recipe's are home made including our BBQ sauce and our BBQ rub. We currently have great relationships with many organizations in the area and do barbeque catering for them.
