St Thomas More Preschool

Saint Thomas More Parish was set up on November 13, 1981. Originally, the parish consisted of about one hundred fifty families in an area of approximately 20 square miles. Father Maurice J. Moran was appointed 1st pastor. The newly formed parish of Saint Thomas More 1st met in the Cannon Mortuary, 2460 East 7600 South, and St. James Episcopal Church, 6876 South Highland Drive, Salt Lake City. In 1982, the site of six acres for the present Saint Thomas More Parish was purchased.
