TOA is the biggest and most respected orthopaedic surgery group in Nashville and Middle Tennessee, and one of the biggest in the nation. We're proud of our growth and it all began from humble beginnings when our founder, Dr. George Carpenter, Sr. Opened the 1st orthopaedic practice in 1924. Eighty plus years later we're advancing the practice of orthopaedic surgery throughout Tennessee, Southern Kentucky and Northern Alabama.
