Surgical
read moreUnion Veterinary Clinic provides a variety of routine and elective surgical services. Surgeries are performed Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday by Drs. Mortola, Cornett, Gross, and Cohen. Availability may be limited, so please call us at 202-544-2500 1-2 weeks in advance to schedule your pet's surgery. Please inform the receptionist which veterinarian you prefer to perform your pet's surgery. This is done for your pet's safety and to make sure that your pet's internal organs such as the kidneys and liver are functioning correctly.

read moreDr. Gross grew up in Pittsburgh, PA. After graduating from Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, she moved to Washington DC. She completed an internship at Friendship Hospital for Animals. After completing the internship she stayed on as a staff veterinarian there. She worked as a relief veterinarian throughout the DC area after leaving FHA, but has been established as a full time veterinarian here since 2007. She is our Medical Director at UVC. She lives with her husband Ry, daughter Matilda, son Leo, dog Rooney and cat Sparkles.
