Chef Masa of Waraji brings an authentic Japanese restaurant to the Triangle. After being voted Best in the Triangle in the category of sushi for countless years, Masa decided to branch out on his own and supply the culinary treasures of Japan in a relaxed and intimate environment. Fans of Waraji Japanese Restaurant call the sparsely decorated dining room minimalist. Detractors call it empty. Both, however, seem to agree that the quality of the sushi at Waraji is unsurpassed and the prices reasonable.
