Dr. Griffith gained her bachelor's degree in biology with High Distinction from the University of Virginia in 1997. She graduated at the head of her class from North Carolina State University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. As a veterinary student, Dr. Griffith was presented with the NCVMA Academic Achievement Award and was inducted into Phi Kappa Phi and the Society of Phi Zeta, the veterinary national honor society. She practiced as an associate veterinarian in Cary and Chapel Hill before realizing her dream of founding Carpenter Animal Hospital.

Carpenrer Animal Hospital gives the best care to my cat. They have a very nice Inn when I need my cat boarded. The staff is very professional and friendly.

We absolutely love Carpenter and all the folks who work there. We foster for a local dog rescue and we take a variety of furry friends there. Everything from regular checkups to more serious surgeries the dogs have been treated with care, and we feel so comfortable taking the dogs to them. They are great with people too, showing us how to administer insulin to our latest foster and making sure we were comfortable with what we are doing. They are very compassionate and take good care of the humans too when things are tough.
I haven't had a bad experience with them, and even though we've moved to North Raleigh we still take our dogs there because we know they'll be taken care of.
When a vet tech stops to give your dog some love on their way to pick up another dog in the parking lot you've found the right place.
