Even the salads here are spicy. The green papaya salad is a bevy of julienned papaya, topped with roasted peanuts and chili peppers, in a lime juice and palm sugar dressing that sweetly evens out the peppers' kick. Duck panang comes lightly fried, sliced and slathered in a strong, creamy coconut-curry sauce with carrots and green beans. Chicken red curry is more bamboo shoot than chicken, but fresh basil leaves make a pungent contrast to this dish, one of many marked hot and spicy on the menu. Cool off with the fresh young coconut milk, a refreshing, clear juice with floating pieces of coconut.
