read moreOur first meeting should be in your home so that I can get a sense of your style and taste. It's also helpful to know what furniture designs are your favorites as well as some idea of your budget. At our next meeting I bring simple sketches for you to see and react to. These designs will also have a cost-to-complete estimate. Following that, a more complete drawing is made, wood samples are provided and finishes are discussed. Once those decisions are made, construction can begin. Shown is the huge shop floor where I and more than a dozen other craftspeople work in a creative and dynamic environment.
Repair Refinish Restore and Re
read moreFor this, I bring my skills as a woodworker to every repair, dismantling and then reassembling and/or refinishing antiques and other furniture to their original condition. As a benefit to you, many repairs can be done on-site, thereby saving you money. Another option for you to consider is to re-purpose older furniture: turning an old dressing table into a laptop desk, for example.
